Denison Forum Mentions Global Media Outreach

The Internet. The bearer of bad news. This past few weeks a wave of attacks against humanity have flooded and shaken the world. The question that lingers is: How is God working through it all? How can hope radiate its light to a world that’s broken?

The Denison Forum on Truth and Culture, is a daily column written by Dr. Jim Dennison. With more than 113,00 subscribers in 203 countries, the message they carry is simple:
“engage contemporary culture with biblical truth.”

Good News On The War On Terror

The title is not an oxymoron. On June 14 2016, Dr. Dennison wrote about the importance of online missions. He brought to light how ministries like Global Media Outreach are reaching people seeking God’s love. Dr. Dennison said:

Here's even better news: The Holy Spirit is using the Internet against ISIS and for the glory of God. So-called "cybermissionaries" are reaching people in countries where missionaries are not permitted to work or even live...One example is Global Media Outreach, a ministry which has shared the gospel more than 1.5 billion times and registered more than 167 million indicated decisions for Christ in the last twelve years.”

Bad news can be overwhelming. But the Lord keeps his promises. In the book of John it says, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
