Enda: “Forever a Changed Man”

After Enda’s girlfriend broke up with him, the young engineer from China felt he had no reason to go on living. But God used a GMO website and Online Missionary Kathleen to direct him otherwise. Kathleen encouraged him with Scripture and prayed for him.

Enda began GMO’s 30-day online Bible study. He felt that, during his Bible study, “a peace seems to settle over me.” As he continued learning a great deal through the study, he realised he was thinking about his ex-girlfriend less and less.

He wrote to Kathleen, whom he called his “Spiritual Mom,” every few days to ask questions and share what he learned. When Enda finished the Bible study, he wanted to know what he should do next. He had attended a government-run church, but found it boring. Kathleen told him about Chinese Christians meeting secretly in house churches, of which he had never heard.

Enda decided he had to “live up to the Word of God, walking as a man of Christ.” He is overjoyed with his new life in Jesus and is “forever a changed man.”
