Indonesian Language Specialist Intern

Do you want to provide resources that lead millions of Indonesian-speakers to Jesus? Global Media Outreach is seeking a Indonesian Language Specialist intern to help reach Indonesian-speakers around the world with the good news of Christ.

Global Media Outreach is a non-profit, Christian ministry that shares Jesus online, helps people grow in faith and then connects them with a local Christian community. With a team of 5,000 Online Missionaries and 100+ websites in 26 languages, we’re reaching half a million people a day. If you want to help us reach even more, consider joining our team as a Indonesian Language Specialist intern.

As the Indonesian Language Specialist intern, you’ll create content in Indonesian that shares Jesus and teaches the foundations of the Christian faith. Your goal will be to ensure all content is culturally relevant and accurate for Indonesian speakers. Candidates must agree to and sign the ministry statement of faith, and be willing to participate in daily prayer time. Must have ability to work in our Plano, TX office during the week. Hours and days are flexible and negotiable.

Duties include:

• Contextualize and develop content in Indonesian for:
• Gospel presentations
• Discipleship resources
• Advertisement campaigns and ad copy
• Social media posts

Skills required:

• Fluent in English and Indonesian (native Indonesian speaker preferred)
• Language proficiency and understanding of nuance, context, and culture.
• Strong writing skills.
• Familiarity with all social media platforms and digital marketing is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and participate in meetings.
