Mrs.Indrani Singh held senior level executive positions in Syndicate Bank, a Public Sector Bank in India.Before she moved to a career in Microfinance, she was with Friends of Women's World Banking(FWWB) an apex level Micro Finance Institution, heading the Chennai Regional Office that serviced MFIs inthe four southern states of India. She has specialized in capacity building, technical assistance, training and Program Implementation in Microfinance.

Mrs. Singh was brought on to the Board of S.M.I.L.E. as DWM's nominee Director and was appointed as Chairman and Managing Director of S.M.I.L.E. in 2014.

Prior to becoming a Director on the Board of S.M.I.L.E. She has served in the Development Sector as a Consultant to various national and international entities like CARE India, Hand in Hand, Economic Perspectives, Sa-dhan, IFAD, WFP an d others.

She is an Economics Graduate and has attended the program in Microfinance at Naropa University, Boulder, Colorado, USA.

She is an Independent consultant in Microfinance, recognised by UNDP India for specialization in Microfinance – Livelihoods promotion, Micro credit, Savings, Banking and Finance. She has written articles on Microfinance and Women Empowerment, Poverty Alleviation and Housing. She has also documented case studies of the beneficiaries of “Grow an Entrepreneur Scheme" of Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

He is a partner of ­Developing World Markets (“DWM”) Group, based in Connecticut, USA of which DWM Investments (Cyprus) Limited is a member. DWM is a regulated investment bank and leading fund manager for microfinance and other socially-positive financial assets in the developing world. As a partner, he is a member of senior management and oversees DWM's private equity business in global emerging markets. He holds a BA Degree from Princeton University and a MBA Degree from Columbia

He is a Vice President in the DWM private equity team. He started his career at JP Morgan as corporate finance analyst. He then moved on as a Senior Associate to New York City Investment Fund and then served as anInvestment Associate for Bridges Community Ventures, a UK-based private equity and venture capital firm and in the process gained six years of experience with socially responsible, double and triple bottom line venture capital and private equity funds in the U.S. and Europe. Aleem received his MBA Degree from Harvard Business School and his BA Degree in Economics and Finance from Princeton University

Mr.Rajan Samuel qualified as a bachelor of Commerce & Administration and holding Diploma and certificate programs in organizational development, Microfinance and Islamic Finance is a strategic,international specialist in Microfinance and experienced in managing Economic Development &Microfinance programs in Asia, Africa,Eastern /Central Europe by working at senior levels for nearly thirty years and has undertaken assignments in 25 countries. Mr.Rajan Samuel ‘s extensive experience includes work for the World Bank for NRF,Habitat for Humanity, Opportunity International, USA, Malayasia, USAID,IRC ,Tbilisi,Georgia,DANIDA,BRC,Baku,Azerbajian and provision of services as Independent consultant. Mr.Rajan Samuel has established 15 independent Microfinance institutions in 10 countries including Rural banks, cooperatives & Credit Unions and Non Bank Finance Companies.

Mr.Murali Srinivas, qualified as a Bachelor in Physics, Master in Political Science and done his Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, USA has got 20 years of experience in Corporate & Development Sector Viz., Microfinance; Insurance ,Bottled water and Business Process Outsourcing across many Indian States , developing operational excellence in Organizations & building new markets and creating economic based business models. He is a successful Entrepreneur and was a co-promoter, director and chief operation officer of Mimo finance and Co-Founder & Director of Acer Engineers Pvt.Ltd., He has worked as Chief Operation Officer in Healing Fields Foundation , General Manager in OSI Technologies Pvt.Ltd.
